A little update

It's been awhile for my poor blog.  Life has been busy.  The kids, a federal election, work, ballet, hockey -- all so much.

Sophie auditioned for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet professional program.  We know it is an unlikely chance she would be selected (I can say that) but we wanted the experience for her, and so did she.  It was challenging, a bit scary but rewarding.  All the elements of a good learning experience.

She is working hard on her piano exam preparation now (exam in January 2016) and of course her school work.  All the things that go into Grade 6.

Fynn is settling into his routines too -- Grade 3, hockey (he's novice year 2) and just enjoying being a newly minted 8 year old.  I've hired our neighbour -- a very bright Grade 12 student to tutor the kids -- hopefully once a week.  She's fluent in French and a high achiever.  I love having them well-tutored.

Fall is moving too fast as always, but hopefully be writing about it, I can relish it a bit more.
