I love my tulips. I think they are one of the most perfect flowers around.

Tomorrow is Friday and a day off for me. I mentioned last week that I took a couple of days off, and I am doing the same for tomorrow. My doctor is actually telling me to. I have been experiencing a significant amount of moderate to high stress over an extended period of time, due to work / family / overload. Some of the biggies included Vic buying out his former partner before Christmas and waiting for that to close (February), Sophie's challenges with math that culminated in her requiring learning assistance for several months (she is back on track and her teacher has noticed a vast improvement), Fynn's issues around "poop"control (ugh), and then work, work and more work. Staffing up our new branch, "right sizing" our other branch, developing my team, and dealing with a host of people issues at work finally took their toll.

So, my doctor is got me looking after myself again. She would like to see me on a reduced week for about 2 months and then re-evaluate. The idea is that I need to recharge and get my body / mind healthy again.

So, with the kids in school, Vic and I are heading up to Silver Star to get our skis out of our locker and have a nice little day to ourselves.

tulips are my absolute favorite flower :)

I am sorry you haven't been feeling well. stress can take so much out of a person. It affects my stomach in the worst way, and that is always a signal to me that I need to cut back on activity and exercise.

Glad your doctor is taking it seriously. Not all do here in the states!
