I had a workshop for my job from 9 - 12 noon today. After that I headed back home and we got ourselves ready to take Sophie to her first piano recital.
It was at a retirement centre in Salmon Arm. Quite a turnout of senior citizens were in the audience along with the family members of the 10 or so students who were performing.
Sophie was second from the beginning (after her friend Cami) and she performed 3 little songs. She did very well.
We are really proud of her! Fynn was also very good in that he sat and stayed reasonably attentive for an hour while listening to the songs.
