I went outside this evening to watch our neighbour Mathew (who is also in Sophie's Kindergarten class) teaching Fynn how to throw a football. It was very cute: he would say "hey little buddy, this is what you need to do" and then proceed to help Fynn with his throw.
Fynn so wants to be one of the big boys. Our house has also become one of the neighbourhood houses where the kids are starting to gather. We had Sophie's friend Maggie her for a couple of hours this afternoon -- oiy, can they get into stuff, and then later the kids were all piling up on our slowly decreasing pile of landscape rocks.
It's all fun and reminds me of when I was a kid and everyone would be at our house.

We are very proud of Vic for completing the Oliver Half-Iron Triathlon!! He had a great race and is now resting / sleeping on the couch. 2 km swim, 93 km bike and 21 km run! (thanks mom for housing the 3 athletes).
