The Weekend Lens

We had a really nice weekend, sticking pretty close to home.

On Friday night we took the kids to Red Robin in Vernon for a change of pace. We find the food, service and atmosphere much more fun and a better quality

than some of the other theme type restaurants.

On Saturday Vic worked on his DIY project which was building a raised bed for his veggie garden. That was followed by a sleepover at our house with Sophie's friend Cami.

Today we had a nice waffle breakfast and then headed over for a walk/hike around Coyote Park. In the afternoon Vic dug a hole in our backyard for a Linden tree that is being delivered later in the week. It will provide us shade and privacy in our backyard.

Sounds like a nice relaxing weekend!
I love Red Robin, too!
I think the food is really good there for the price.
