That's because on June 29 - 30 Sophie will be attending her first away from home camp trip up at Gardom Lake. My coworker Angie suggested it to me today since her daughter is attending it and her and Sophie are good little buddies.
I popped up to Sophie's school at noon and chatted with her about it and she was pretty excited. The idea of going away to camp with her friend is exciting. Gardom Lake looks pretty fun. Tonight she asked me if she could stay longer than one night but I explained to her she was still too young for that. Let's get through this summer first.
