This arrived today. It's a Cable Nelson, built by Yamaha. We have had it on order for months now from Kelowna but we were waiting for our front sitting room to be painted. We actually had it painted but it was way too strong of a yellow (picture lemon custard) so we repainted it and it is a much more soothing softer shade. Once the painting was complete we were ready to bring Ms. Piano home.
I took Sophie into the room tonight to show it to her. She whooped with happiness. She loves her Grandma Hamilton's piano. We wanted to encourage some basic music / piano skills. After Christmas, we will be investigating some piano lessons for Sophie. She'll likely be dropping her tap lessons after the new year for a bit to create a bit more space in our lives for the lessons and practice.
