We had a lot of celebrating this past weekend for Fynn's 2nd birthday and Thanksgiving.
On Friday, we had the daycare party and then we headed down south to my parents where we had a little lunch birthday party on the Saturday - complete with a very cute Elmo cake that my mom made. Later we went to Vic's mom's house for a turkey dinner and another little celebration. On Sunday we had another turkey dinner at my mom's place. Fynn got a little shy when we all started singing to him. He's not used to being in the spotlight! He loved his toolkit and his tractors. He is such a little boy!
I also can't forget to mention Vic's race on Sunday. It's been three years since he's done this one, but it's a really great season finale for him. He did very well and beat his personal best (1 hour, 43 min)!
For my entertainment (?) I worked on a skirt for Sophie. I finished it up and she is actually wearing it, but I'll post a pic tomorrow and give a review of the pattern.
I can't believe we will be here in 3 days! I have always wanted to go and I can't quite believe we are actually going. I just have to lick this cold and then we'll be set (apart from the 101 things we need to get done before then). Anyways...
