the latest

Obviously I’m not updating my blog too well these days.

A quick update:

We have been on holidays in Victoria and other parts of Vancouver Island, Vancouver and finally the Okanagan valley for the past two weeks.

Vacationing with a 3.5 year old (while 27 weeks pregnant) is both tiring and fun.

Other observations:

- Robson Street in Vancouver is getting cheesed out. Too flashy (too many big name stores), too many D and G oversized sunglasses. Not for me.

- Shopping in downtown (old Victoria) is good. I picked up a pair of black sandals at Freedman's, a pair of gauchos/cropped pants from the LuluLemon sister store (can't recall the name) and a maternity bra (Bravado).

- Sophie does not enjoy nor will she eat tapas for dinner. Lesson learned.

- The Constant Princess by Phillippa Gregory makes for excellent reading. Loving it.

- I am never completely detached from work, nor do I think I need to be. It's part of my slightly obsessive personality. Had to check in a couple of times via email to see how a couple of things were shaping up.

- Swimming is bliss for a pregnant body.
