This year we kept things simple (and less expensive) and decided to not go to Vancouver Island this summer. We did 2 nights in Vancouver staying here, with the highlight being the Vancouver Aquarium and also a short visit with Vic's cousin Tiffany one evening. Then we headed to Oliver for 4 nights. Highlights were the water slides, public swimming in Oliver and warm days in the sunny south Okanagan.
