swimming lessons

On Friday we wrapped up two weeks of swimming lessons for Sophie and Fynn.
Both of the kids did well with their lessons: Fynn advanced from Sea Turtles to Sea Otters and while Sophie was strong in her diving and length swimming, she needs to keep working on her side breathing for front crawl. So, in mid August she is signed up for another session of Level 4. She was disappointed and frustrated that she didn't pass Level 4, but it was a quite of a bump up in that there is more technique now than there was in past lessons.

In other news, we have started up her French tutoring one evening per week just to keep the momentum up over the summer for French.
