sophie, slightly preoccupied with the idea that Santa could be watching her:
"mommy, i've been very good this year."
mama, remembering how she stuck out her tongue and called me "yucky" yesterday morning as she pouted about getting dressed for daycare.
"oh, what about yesterday morning?"
sophie, always the thinker:
"mommy, Santa still gives presents to cranky kids. i was just cranky."
